Sponsor Over the Edge
SUMMIT SPONSOR $10,000
- Logo prominently displayed on all event collateral (website, social media, posters, flyers, emails, t-shirts, event signage).
- Naming rights: “Presented by [Sponsor] on all major materials.
- 10 VIP passes to a pre-event VIP Happy Hour + 3 spots to rappel.
- Stage/emcee recognition & opportunity for a short speaking segment.
- Banner placement at VIP/ground party.
- Option to include promo items in all participant swag bags.
ANCHOR SPONSOR $5,000
- Company logo on collateral (website, social media, and signage).
- 6 VIP passes to Happy Hour + 1 rappel spot.
- Emcee or DJ mentions each time a sponsor-linked rappel occurs.
- Inclusion in pre-event and post-event marketing (emails, social media).
RAPPEL SPOT $1,000
- 1 rappel spot for an experience you’ll never forget!
- Must fundraise a minimum of $1,000 using out Peer-to-Peer platform to solidify your spot.
- Any fundraising effort under $1,000 must have the full difference paid by 09/10 to hold your spot – or it will just be considered a donation.
- Food/Refreshments will be provided to each rappeler.
- Photo Opportunities and DJ/Emcee announcement during your rappel spot: “Why did you go Over the Edge.”
BASE CAMP SPONSOR $7,500
- Logo on event collateral (website, social media, and signage).
- 8 VIP passes to VIP Happy Hour + 2 rappel spots.
- Onsite logo placement (landing zone or check-in) + banner.
- Emcee or DJ mentions each time a sponsor-linked rappel occurs.
- Inclusion in pre-event and post-event marketing (emails, social media).
"TOSS YOUR BOSS" SPONSOR $3,500
- Logo on event website, social media, and signage.
- 4 VIP passes to Happy Hour + 1 rappel spot (perhaps for “the boss”).
- Spotlight announcement during event (announcer/DJ) when “The Boss” rappels.
- Inclusion in pre-event and post-event marketing (emails, social media).

Frequently Asked Questions
What time do I rappel?
The event occurs over an 8-hour day. The Arc & OTE Teams develop the rappeler schedule in the weeks prior to the event. The earlier you secure your rappel spot, the more flexibility you will have to select your time.
How long does it take to rappel?
About 20 minutes
Do I need to have experience to participate?
Not at all! Our technicians will provide all of the training and support you need to get Over the Edge!
What about the weather?
The OTE team has VERY strict rules regarding windspeed and watches the weather very carefully in the days prior to the event. We would rappel in rain but NOT in thunder/lightning.
What is the minimum age to rappel?
Anyone can participate in an Over the Edge event. People in their 80s and 90s rappel! The only restriction is that anyone under the age of 18 requires a parent or guardian’s signature on the legal waiver.
What is the weight limit to rappel?
Participants must be between 100-300 lbs. to rappel.
Can I wear a costume to rappel?
Yes! But it does have to fit the safety guidelines (i.e. cannot interfere with the harness/helmet or be too loose/stringy).
Can I take pictures from the roof?
Rappelers cannot take any photos for safety reasons, but we will be taking pictures on the roof that will be sent after the event!
What is the fundraising deadline?
Event Day is the official fundraising deadline. If you haven’t quite met your target by Event Day, you can contact your event manager to hold your spot with a credit card.
What if I don't meet the fundraising minimum?
Once you meet your fundraising goal OR sign the credit card guarantee form, you will be given a lot on the rappeler schedule. If the minimum is not met or the credit card guarantee is not signed, you will not be given a spot on the rappeler schedule and the money raised is considered a donation.
Note: In order to rappel, each participant will have to be able to lift 50 lbs.
